- Individual engineering of timber substructure for shaped ceiling
- Wave-like lining of the ceiling – precise execution
- Rounded lining around circular windows
- Very high quality of surface finishing proofed namely in difficult lighting conditions
- Close cooperation with the architect to achieve the desired yacht-like appearance
The internal space of the house is quite complicated: a number of intersecting surfaces, sometimes curved, creating an illusion of the interior of a ship. The suspended ceiling above the staircase formed in several waves required custom-made wooden substructures stabile enough to support the lining of special Glasroc F Riflex gypsum board. The perfectly executed ellipsoid lining above and around the circular windows with highly demanding lighting conditions is a proof of the installer´s expertise.
The turn-key project was finalized within an incredible 90 days.
